    Cap8 is expanding, and we are currently looking to add to our Superintendent team.

    Job description
    The Superintendent is the company’s on-site representative managing all install activities and subcontractor coordination. Quality control, safety, scheduling, communication, and pride in the finished products are the key qualities we demand of our Superintendent. Our project types include commercial buildings, apartment complexes, schools, libraries, universities, hospitals, etc.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    •Manage communication between Client/subcontractors & Project Managers.
    •Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers & subcontractors, to determine project needs.
    •Manage multiple subcontractors.
    •Develop strong working relationships with subcontractors.
    •Keeping track of project progress & update PlanGrid.
    •Monitor and report on project progress.
    •Assist in development and management of project schedule.
    •Ensure project safety.
    •Ensure a clean work site.
    •QC responsible according to specifications.
    •Manage close-out tasks, punch lists & as-built drawings.
    •Field measurements
    •Keep track of material stock and orders
    •Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
    •Complete safety paperwork such as OSHA30, RCP, etc.

    Qualifications / Requirements
    •Superintendent, three years (Preferred).
    •High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience preferred.
    •Proven ability to work independently, manage subcontractors, and maintain schedules.
    •Proficient using technology, including smartphones, computers and emails.
    •Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
    •Work in a face-paced environment, completing multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines.
    •Knowledge of proper safety practices when using tools.
    •Must be able to work overtime as needed.
    •Must have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
    •Experience with hand and power tools, including hammer, screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, and cordless drills.
    •The typical workday starts at 6:00 am at the job site.
